Just out of curiousity, what and how exactly are the funds "invested back into the group" especially given the front page requirements which amount to "you need to pay us 15 ecto AND pay for all the equipment, skills and runes and everything needed to run" What do people get, apart from being taught runs?

i think its kinda scabby that your asking for so much money. all those ectos... -.-
whenever i need help wiht a build i either go to the place where im trying to get the build for (droknars run go to beacons for it) or as guildies. When im there i just ask if there are any runners (kinda obvious in beacons) and if they can give tips..so far this has not proved wrong as all the builds i've been taught have worked. if it means i have to pay 3k for a practice run with someone i dont care..but im not gonna pay all that money/ecto/shards for it.

You're more than welcome to not join. No one is forcing you to. But, if you had even bothered to read anything in the thread, you would realize there's so much more to it.

EBAY FOR THE RUN....
the prices are sick. even for a full party. A full party from Grendich Courthouse is 4 man... Thats only 3 to run for the cash. thats 8300 gold per person. I say OVERPRICED. but that seems to be the trend on Guildwars.

Your idea of overpriced is not the idea of many of our customers. As it states on the front page that many runs can be done for cheaper elsewhere as we specialise in more "harder" and "complicated" runs. An la to desert run i charge 20k minimum as it takes along while however you could maybe get cheaper elsewhere. I am not going to take a long run with little pay when i can do harder runs with higher pay.

All of your questions/comments/concers are addressed in this thread at least once.
Yes I know our runs are expensive, but some people like the gaurantee that if they spend 2 Hours of their time on a FoW Armorer Run, they wont have to repeat it cause of a poorly organized group. Its hard to find people who can do exactly what they say in their thread, but I know for a fact that the Graduates and Officers who come out of LBS will complete the jobs for their customers.

I like the idea of the academy and certified runners, that sounds really neat and gives motivation. Yet, I have to agree that the prices are crazy. Either way, I want to join.

For those who question our pricing, please understand our target demographic has and always will be those who value their time extremely highly, as we do. We offer a different running service than anyone else in guild wars. We have an established Academy, the first and only successful one of its kind, and have been running for almost a year. We provide our services "on demand," which means we have at any time of day on any server an extremely high likelihood of having numerous runners available when you need them for custom runs, special projects, and everything else. You cannot put a price on that kind of convenience. You don't have to take chances with the unknown guy who said a week ago he would run for peanuts to save up for his 15K armor but no longer seems to be around . . .

Why does it have to be a warrior. Ive had a succesful ranger run me to forge befor. And my friend runs a w/r to forge. im just saying does it always have to be a warrior. Somewhere on gameamp someone has made a thread where it compares a ranger and a warrior in running distance. In the end the ranger is faster and wins. I am not saying that warriors arent as great as rangers. But that they can run too.
